If you are making a water-free anhydrous serum, the 99% pure crystalline powder dissolved in propanediol is your best bet. If you want a lightweight, hydrating water-based serum, you must use the Liposomal grade. The lipid bilayer membrane shields the Resveratrol molecule from surrounding water and oxygen, preventing premature breakdown.
How do we completely bypass water-induced oxidation? We remove the water entirely. Anhydrous (water-free) glycol-based delivery systems are highly popular because they act as self-preserving, ultra-stable environments for sensitive antioxidants.
