Water-soluble and suitable for both leave-on and rinse-off products.
product efficacy

Pterostilbene has been proven to help reduce damage caused by free radicals. Compared to tetrahydrocurcumin, glabridin, and vitamin C, pterostilbene shows the strongest oxygen radical absorbance capacity. It also exhibits a strong ability to inhibit DPPH free radicals, indicating its exceptional antioxidant effects.

UV Protection Testing
According to the study “Protective Effect of Pterostilbene Against Acute Photodamage Induced by Long-Wave Ultraviolet Radiation in Human Fibroblasts,” cell-viability assays and comet assays analyzing DNA damage showed that an appropriate concentration of pterostilbene can alleviate UV-induced injury in human fibroblasts. Pterostilbene is a natural sunscreen ingredient; a cream containing 0.4% pterostilbene can deliver SPF 6.2 protection. Its peak UV-absorption wavelength is 306 nm, covering the 280–320 nm UVB range, and it exhibits excellent UVB-absorption efficacy.
